With the aim of commencing with the validation phase of the 2nd round of household assessment as soon as possible, Listahanan FO2 conducted two sets of training to get selected area supervisors ready to receive complaints from Region 2 constituents.
The first batch of training was held at PLT Wellness Resort in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya last October 30-31, 2015 while the second batch was held at Taj Hotel, Tuguegarao City last November 3-4, 2015.
DSWD FO2 OIC-Regional Director Ponciana P. Condoy personally assisted in the training of the second batch of area supervisors to get them equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills that they will need when the validation starts. The director also led the discussion of the expectations that the trainees have with regards to the validation phase.
The trainees, which were chosen from the pool of field staff that conducted the household enumeration from June to August 2015, will start receiving concerns and complaints from the people from their respective areas of assignment in the first week of November.
Listahanan FO2 Regional Focal Person Pasencia T. Ancheta said that the area supervisors chosen were the best performing field staff during the household assessment. She added that the training has embedded everything that the area supervisors will need to conduct the validation correctly and as swiftly as possible. ### Written by Chester Carlo M.
