Thru the National Household Targeting Unit (NHTU) the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02 (DSWD-FO2) is now ready to share its Listahanan 2 data through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with its partner agencies and stakeholders.

Under the guidelines, the poverty database may be shared with national government agencies (NGAs), local government units (LGUs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), civil society organizations (CSOs), members of the academe, and private foundations.  It is specified under the guidelines that the data to be accessed from Listahanan 2 database can only be used for social protection activities, such as but not limited to, provision of social services or enrollment in poverty reduction programs and the development of programs or projects.

DSWD emphasizes that requests for data which involves the Personal Information (PI) and Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) will require entering a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with DSWD.  Requests for mere statistical and raw data will not require a MOA but a formal request letter citing reasons, and timeline for use is needed.

While the completion of the On-Demand Application (ODA) is currently going on, the DSWD-FO2 will already release the Listahanan Data as of December 2016 to accommodate the request from the partners. The data will then be updated after the ODA is completed.

The Listahanan aims to encourage all the Local Government Units (LGU), National Government Agencies (NGAs), Civil Society Organizations, the Academe and other stakeholders to use the Listahanan Data in identifying beneficiaries for social protection programs and services in order to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of government resources. ### By: Margarette B.
