CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 2 has started testing a new digital platform for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), as the agency prepares for its nationwide rollout in November.
The four-day 4Ps Digital Platform Pilot Testing Training, held from July 20 to 23 at Japi Hotel, gathered 4Ps City and Municipal Links, Social Welfare Assistants, compliance verification officers, beneficiary data officers, and information technology personnel who will be among the first users of the new system.
Unlike a regular training, the activity served as a live pilot test of the digital platform, allowing participants to use the system alongside existing compliance verification processes to identify technical issues, report operational challenges, and recommend improvements before its nationwide rollout.
The digital platform is part of the agency’s broader effort to modernize the implementation of the 4Ps as the program aims to streamline compliance monitoring, improve data integration, and make program operations more efficient and transparent while maintaining accurate records of beneficiaries’ compliance with program conditions.
Throughout the training, participants underwent hands-on sessions on the platform’s various modules, familiarizing themselves with its features and digital workflows. They also took part in planning sessions to identify possible bottlenecks and recommend adjustments that could improve both system performance and user experience before the platform’s full deployment.
The pilot testing is expected to produce technical reports on system performance, document issues encountered during implementation, and assess how the platform performs in areas with limited internet connectivity. The feedback gathered during the activity will help refine the system and support a smoother transition once the 4Ps Digital Platform is implemented nationwide later this year.
