In identifying beneficiaries for social protection programs municipalities of Isabela province are using the LISTAHANAN database.

Municipalities of Maconacon with 1,619, Ramon 1,230, Gamu 867, San Agustin 548, Aurora 340, Reina Mercedes 697, Divilacan 2,437, Burgos 2,318 and Alicia 5,464 are the poor families identified as beneficiaries in their social protection programs and services respectively.

 “We are glad that more Local Government Units (LGUs) are utilizing and giving their feedback reports for the data utilization. This only means that we are helping a lot of worthy people.” Delia S. Sto. Tomas, Deputy Regional Project Manager, LISTAHANAN stated.

 Meanwhile, Sto. Tomas stressed that with the feedback reports, LISTAHANAN will continue to strive even harder so that all our Local Government Units and other stakeholders will adopt LISTAHANAN database.

Some of the programs and services that made used the LISTAHANAN data base specifically food for work, cash for work, self-employment assistance, provision of toilet facilities and pump wells, aid in crisis situations, emergency food assistance, disaster relief, supplementary feeding, day care service, educational assistance, special program for employment of students, special services for the elderly, special services for disabled and pre-marriage counseling.
