“When an impending typhoon looms over Dinapigue, I am comforted with the thought that I have a partner in DSWD whose always ready to assist my constituents, such as  in the recent Typhoon Dodong,” said Dinapigue, Isabela Mayor Reynaldo D. Derijie.

This is the core message of Mayor Derijie during the awarding of P3.5M check for Core Shelter Assistance Program in Dinapigue on May 15, 2015.

Addressing his townsfolk, “sa nakaraang bagyong Dodong, hindi nakalimutan ng DSWD ang malayong lugar na ito kung saan bukod sa family food packs na naka-preposition na dito sa atin bago pa man ang pagpasok ng bagyo, ito ay kagyat na dinagdagan ng butihing director ng higit pa sa pangangailangan ng bayang ito.”

DSWD FO 02 Regional Director Remia T. Tapispisan warmly accepted the expression of gratitude of Mayor Derijie.

“Ang personal naming pag-abot ng pondo para sa CSAP at Cash for Work ay pagpapatunay ng matapat na paglilingkod namin sa inyo,” Director Tapispisan expressed.

The family-victims of Typhoon Odette in 2013 will be the beneficiaries of the 50 core shelter units.
