Eight enthusiastic and talented individuals vied for top honors during the November 20, 2015 Listahanan Photo Contest held in Pallua Norte and Pallua Sur in Tuguegarao City.
DSWD FO2 Listahanan conducted the said contest to promote transparency in the ongoing receiving and resolving of complaints relative to the initial list of poor households that are already posted in the barangay halls throughout the region.
The 8 participants were composed of students and workers alike, with their ages ranging from 16 to 25.
Mr. Gerald Francisco, a Pantawid Pamilya encoder who joined the contest, said that joining the event was part fun because he got to enjoy the feeling of going on the field to take pictures and informative at the same time because he got to see what goes on during the Listahanan validation activities.
The top honor will receive a P10, 000 cash prize plus plaque of recognition, the second prize P7, 000, the third prize 5,000 and three consolation prizes of P2, 000 each.
The result of the contest will be announced during the awarding ceremony on December 9, 2015. The venue of the awarding will be posted on the DSWD website soon.
