Jonard, 24, resident of Brgy. Camarao, Cordon, Isabela , is the fourth among the five (5) siblings of Mr. and Mrs Romualdo Fernandez, who are both natives of Isabela.

He earned his 2-year course in Computer Hardware Services. In as much as he wanted  to continue his study, his parents  but his father cannot provide his needs because he is the only one who supports them, his father is only a farm tenant, and her mother passed away, also their grandmother is living with them. His siblings who have worked had already their own family to supports too.

After he graduated from vocational course, he then worked as encoder with Atty. Hipolito Salatan Office for 3 months on July to September 2010. When his contract ended, he helped his father at the farm. On February 2010, he worked as an executive assistant in a farm supply office for 2 months.

On July 2011, while Jonard is jobless, and they are financially hard up, he immediately grab the opportunity to go to Malaysia to work at the Palm Oil Company. In Malaysia he worked at the Beaufort Plantation Company. However, while working there he was exploited and his agent continuously deceived him in terms of his salary. Due to lack of knowledge on how to operate the machine which was filled with boiling palm oil he was accidentally burn. After that accident he tried to back out from working but the agent refused to listen to him and still forced him to work there.

Since he was determined not to resume work anymore, he escaped and returned to the country thru backdoor. Jonard was assisted by the DSWD Field Office IX in filing a case against his trafficker for violation of RA 9208 which is now being handled by the Zamboanga City Police. Client has returned to his home town last November 5, 2011.

Last December 2012, Jonard was provided with livelihood assistance amounting to 10, 000 to put up swine raising. According to him, he immediately bought 2 female boars after he claimed his assistance. Last March 2013, he sells one of his female boar to amounting to 8,000 to support the food of one left female boar. Jonard also worked in Mcdonald food chain, Cordon Isabela branch. Presently, his female boar is three months pregnant, and he is very thankful to have such kind of investment and plan to raise another female for fast growing of her business. ###
