The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office II through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program staged a series of provincial event for the launching of Tuloy ang Pagbabago campaign this month.

The event kicked-off in Cabarroguis, Quirino on March 7, 2016 followed by Naguilian, Isabela on March 9, 2016. The third and last installment took place in Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya and Solana, Cagayan on March 16, 2016 and March 21, 2016.

With the aim to showcase the wins and gains of Pantawid Pamilya, beneficiaries shared their stories of positive change that drew inspiration among their fellow beneficiaries and admiration from the partners.

“Sana magpatuloy ang mga magagandang pagbabago na naidulot ng Pantawid Pamilya,” says Corazon Catacutan, a Parent Leader from Solana, Cagayan.

“Sana magpatuloy pa ang Pantawid Pamilya nang patuloy rin ang mga magagandang pagbabago sa aking buhay, pati na rin sa mga katulad kong nagsimula nang makabangon mula sa kahirapan,” says Corazon Catacutan, a Parent Leader from Brgy. Cariculud, Solana, Cagayan.

Another highlight of the activity was the unveiling of the FESbook or the Frequently Encountered Situations book which is a reference material for DSWD internal staff in handling election-related scenarios.

In connection, staff from the four Provincial Operations Offices and from the Regional Program Management Office have showed their commitment in protecting the rights of the beneficiaries through signing the FESbook wall.

The Tuloy ang Pagbabago Campaign is the final version of the Pantawid Pamilya Active Citizenship communication campaign intended to protect and enhance awareness of beneficiaries of their rights and duties for the national election season.

Pantawid Pamilya is a human-development and rights-based program of the national government and is being implemented by DSWD. The program invests in the health and education of poor Filipino children aged 0-18 years old by providing cash grants in exchange of compliance to certain conditionalities. ### By MARICEL B.
