Following the onslaught of Super Typhoon Lawin, DSWD Field Office 02 OIC Regional Director Ponciana P. Condoy instructed her staff to prepare for the conduct of household assessment to identify eligible beneficiaries of the Emergency Shelter Assistance (ESA) Program of the Department.

ESA is a cash grant provided to families whose houses are either totally or partially damaged and  who have no permanent source of income or whose income is below the poverty threshold of the region.
