Cabatuan, Isabela – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02 (FO2) turns over 30 shelter units for beneficiaries in this municipality on March 6, 2017.

Affected families of Typhoon Vinta received the said units under the Core Shelter Assistance Program (CSAP) of DSWD in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Cabatuan.

The completed units amount to P2,000,000.00 with the LGU providing the lot. Likewise, the new homeowners received P47,750.00 in total under the Cash-for-Work Program.

Previousy, FO2 extended 70 CSAP units for the same municipality in the amount of P4,900,000.00 and P116,900.00 Cash-for-Work assistance in 2012 for affected families of Typhoon Juan. ### By: Gela Flor R. Perez, Regional Information Officer II
