The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02 (DSWD-FO2) thru the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) or Listahanan awarded the list of poor households in Tuguegarao City to the Local Government Unit of Tuguegarao City today at the Tuguegarao City Hall.
          OIC-Regional Director Lucia S. Alan personally handed the Compact Disk (CD) which contains the data to OIC-Mayor Bienvenido C. De Guzman II, Councilor Imogen Claire M. Callangan and Myrna G. Te, City Social Welfare and Development Officer (CSWDO) during the flag ceremony of the LGU.
“Itong mga data na ito ay makakatulong sa atin upang mahatiran natin ng tulong ang mga kababayan nating totoong nangangailangan,” Director Alan added.
She also emphasized that the data is not limited for the use of the CSWDO but may also be used by other offices as basis of their own programs and services by requesting the data to the Personal Information Controller.
DSWD-FO2 designated Data Protection Officer and the Regional Focal Person of Listahanan, Pasencia T. Ancheta reiterated that the data must be protected from elements or from people that may use it for unscrupulous purposes.
          Matthias James Ryan L. Tangonan, Regional Information Technology Officer of Listahanan, also provided technical assistance to Jexter G. Tumbali, Tuguegarao City designated data handler, on how to properly handle and protect the data.
