Tuguegarao City – Workers employed for the conduct of the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) 3rd Round of Household Assessment started receiving their salaries yesterday, March 25, 2020, at the field office compound.
A total of 199 encoders of the program will receive their compensation until today, with a total amount of P6,498,912.00 allotted for the encoders’ salaries.
The distribution of salaries for the program’s enumerators, area supervisors and area coordinators has also started and shall resume again later on.
Social distancing and other safety measures meanwhile were set in place before the start of the payout, to include checking of temperature before entering the field office compound, alcohols and sanitizers applied to all individuals coming in and the requiring of IDs.
The 3rd round of household assessment aims to produce an updated list of poor households that shall be the basis of the agency, and other partners through a memorandum of agreement (MOA), for the identification of beneficiaries of its programs and services.
