We commend   DSWD thru the Listahanan for reaching us even if we are in the coastal areas. We have learned a lot in this lecture, most specially, you have enlightened us on our queries regarding the Listahanan database,” Mayor Florita C. Bulan of Divilacan, Isabela shared during the conduct of orientation on November 18, 2014 at Divilacan Municipal Hall.

Mayor Bulan likewise pledged their support   for the forthcoming second round of Family Assessment considering the enormous advantage brought by Listahanan database in  identifying the real poor  in their municipality.

This information campaign aims to prepare and harness support from the Local Government Units (LGUs) most specially the Barangay Officials for the upcoming Second Round of Family Assessment. It also seeks to promote the Listahanan to partner-stakeholders so that they may have a better understanding of the project and that no household will be left behind.

Meanwhile, Mayor Ma. Lycelle Kate Domingo of Maconacon, Isabela expressed her gratitude to the staff of FO 02 stating that “the people of Maconacon are indeed grateful for educating us regarding the Listahanan and for addressing the entire misconceptions attendant to this database. This is a very effective avenue for the people to know that the government is really doing something to alleviate poverty.”

Like Mayor Bulan of Divilacan, Mayor Domingo offered her support for the re-certification of the said Talaan ng Pamilyang Nangangailangan.

The National Household Targeting Unit (NHTU) is conducting a continuous information campaign on Listahanan to the different municipalities of Region II. Recently, the NTHU visited the coastal areas in Isabela, namely: Palanan, Maconacon and Divilacan.

These municipalities are also eligible data-users of the Listahanan. The said database is being used as a reliable basis in identifying deserving beneficiaries for their programs and services. ### AILYN P. AGLAUA,  Admin.  Assist.  III
