For  the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 02, finding who and where the poor are doesn’t end after  the regional launching of the results of the 2nd Round of Family Assessment on July 15, 2016 by the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) or Listahanan.

Results of the said 2015 Listahanan Database showed that of the 633,661 households assessed regionwide, 135,824 households or a total of 772,004 individuals are poor. This data also includes Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries who were then identified as poor and qualified for the program during the first Listahanan Family Assessment sometime in 2009.

In this year’s second round of assessment, however, there are Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries who were not included in the  2015 Listahanan database. .

Hence, efforts are being made to locate these beneficiaries in the Provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya.
