Victims of Typhoon Vinta in Lal-lo, Cagayan receive their core shelter units from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 02  through its Core Shelter Assistance Project (CSAP) during the inauguration ceremony on July 4, 2016.

A total of 100 units were awarded to qualified beneficiaries in the said municipality with the corresponding amount of P5, 600,000.00

The completion of the said project was made possible with the assistance of the Local Government Unit of Lal-lo which provided the lot where the units were constructed.

Under the CSAP, DSWD Field Office 02 extended a total of 240 shelter units in the amount of P16, 800,000.00 to the residents of Lal-lo since its initial assistance in 2008. ### By: Gela Flor R. Perez, Regional Information Officer II
