Tuguegarao City – With the aim to enhance fact-finding skills and case presentation for grievance reports, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 2 (DSWD FO2) conducted a series of training entitled “Capacitating Pantawid Workers on Enhanced Grievance Fact-finding and Reporting” during the months of June to July 2017.
Participants to the said activities included Municipal Action Team (MAT) Team leaders, Municipal Roving Bookeepers (MRBs), Community Facilitators (CFs), selected Social Welfare Assistants (SWAs) and selected staff from the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO).
Starting off at Solano Nueva Vizcaya on June 15-16, case managers from Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino attended the training. This was followed by the June 20-21 activity held at Cordon, Isabela for the Isabela group and finally, the July 3-4 schedule at Tuguegarao City attended by the Cagayan group.
Resource speakers and facilitators for the activities were the Grievance Officers and selected staff from the RPMO. To maximize the learning experience, the training was composed of lectures, open discussions, structured learning exercises, pre and post tests and action planning for selected grievance issues.
