The donations received by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office are now being transported for distribution to the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda in the provinces of Samar and Leyte.

The FO2 received cash donations amounting to P12, 800. 00 pesos which will be deposited in the donation fund of DSWD.

Other donations include: twelve (12) sacks of family food packs @ 8 packs per sack; forty-five (45) sacks of assorted clothing for adult; seven (7) sacks of assorted clothing for children; fifteen (15) sacks of assorted pants for adult; two (2) sacks of slippers; ten (10) sacks of rice @ 50 kilos per sack; three (3) cases of sardines; forty-nine (49) boxes of bottled mineral water; six cases of noodles (Payless); two cases of noodles (Homi); two (2) sacks of assorted clothing.  Donations also includes three and a half (3.5) sacks of brand new assorted shirts with a worth of P30, 386. 00 pesos.

 The donations were already hauled by the Philippine Navy based in Santa Ana, Cagayan and will be delivered to Northern Command (NOLCOM) in Tarlac Province for consolidation, after which, it will  be ferried to National Resource Operations Center (NROC) in Pasay City.

Most of the donations received were from DSWD employees, regional line agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Local Government Units, public and private schools, media partners and private individuals regionwide
