Divilacan, Isabela- The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office II (DSWD-FO2) spearheaded by Director Remia T. Tapispisan and through the Core Shelter Assistance Project (CSAP) to provide additional 170 core shelters to the victims of Typhoon Juan.

On April 3, 2014, Director Tapispisan in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Divilacan and National Housing Authority (NHA) released Php. 11,900,000.00 for the construction to the said core shelters.

These units will be given to the beneficiaries who were devastated by Typhoon Juan in 2011.

Every beneficiary will receive a core shelter worth Php. 70, 000.00 and Php. 1,910.00 for the Cash For Work program (CFW).

Meanwhile, there are total of 326 units and funded amounting to Php. 22,820,000.00. Of these, 156 were already inaugurated and awarded to the identified beneficiaries. These units are located at Barangays Dimapula, Dimapnat and Dicaruyan.

Core Shelter Assistance Project or CSAP is one of the rehabilitation projects and being implemented by DSWD.
