ISABELA – Two Civil Social Organizations (CSOs), namely Roxas Church of Christ and Arvyk Eco-Farm Research, Learning and Assessment Center Inc. (Arvyk Eco-Farm RLACI), volunteered to become partners of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 2, to aid in the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
A ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Agreement was conducted on May 14, 2024 to formally forge partnership between the Department and the CSOs.
Roxas Church of Christ is a recognized organization with programs focusing on Advocacy, Children’s Welfare, Disaster Risk Reduction/ Climate Change Adaptation, Environment and Natural Resources, Environment Protection, Good  Governance, Health and Nutrition and Religious & Spiritual Services/ Values Formation.
Said organization pledged support to the program through provision of technical assistance as Resource Person during Family and Youth Development Sessions through serving as “Gabay”, as well as implementation of other anti-poverty and social protection services under “Kaagapay” framework.
Meanwhile, Arvyk Eco-Farm RLACI, a duly accredited organization of TESDA, also vowed to provide technical assistance as Kaagapay through skills training on livelihood particularly on regenerative agriculture activities, provision of assistance on operations, research, technical and management services related to such, as well as other related environmental and farming activities, and conduct of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) on agri-fisheries qualifications.

 

Among the attendees were Roxas Church of Christ Resident Minister and Chair Victor Dungo and Church Secretary Jenjen Santos; Arvyk Eco-Farm RLACI Board of Directors Present Arvin Dumendeng and Member Ronalyn Dumendeng; Financial Analyst Mervin Mercado, representing Regional Director Lucia Alan, Isabela Provincial Link Marisa Tongdo, Institutional Partnership Development Officer Sophia Darsie Passion and other staff of the DSWD FO2.
As of date, Field Office 2 already has 21 active CSO partners who aid in the program implementation to ensure that the goals and objectives of 4Ps are met.
