CAGAYAN VALLEY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 2 (DSWD FO2), through its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), took a significant step forward as the Regional Program Management Office conducted a transformative workshop for Field Implementers on the Family Development Sessions 7 Year Transformative Learning Path (FDS7YTLP).

Attended by over 150 Field Implementers in the region, this initiative aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, values, and skills to carry out the FDS7YTLP effectively and efficiently.
FDS7YTLP is a localized guidelines on FDS catering to address the unique situations and needs of the program within the region with the aim to further empower beneficiaries.
Under the FDS7YTLP, topics are organized in a developmental structure, starting with the family as the smallest unit of society, ensuring a more comprehensive and transformative approach to learning.
The localized guidelines will provide clear direction to all 4Ps Field Implementers, particularly those directly involved in FDS implementation, as well as external partners such as Civil Society Organizations, Local Government Unit’s FDS Teams, and other National Government Agency partners to facilitate efficient and effective operationalization of the FDS7YTLP towards achieving self-sufficient households that can eventually graduate from the Program.

As DSWD FO2 pioneers this transformative learning path, it sets a promising precedent for other regions to adopt similar localized approaches, revolutionizing the way FDS empowers and uplifts the lives of its beneficiaries.
